Dr. John David Groarke is a cardiovascular medicine specialist at Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH), cardio-oncologist at Dana Farber Cancer Institute and an instructor of medicine at Harvard Medical School (HMS).
Dr. Groarke received his medical degree with honors from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland. He completed internal medicine residency and general cardiology fellowship training at through the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland. He then completed clinical fellowships in advanced multimodality cardiovascular imaging, cardio-oncology and advanced heart disease (heart failure/transplant/mechanical circulatory support) at BWH. He is board certified in cardiovascular computed tomography, and nuclear cardiology. He has been awarded a master’s of science from Trinity College Dublin, Ireland and a master of public health from Harvard School of Public Health.
