Licensing Manager II
Nathan Valverde is responsible for managing and commercializing technologies arising from the MGH Department of Cardiology, the BWH Pulmonary Department, and the Departments of Obstetrics & Gynecology and the Departments of Medicine for both MGH and BWH. Prior to joining Partners, Nathan spent five years working as an R&D Transactions Manager in the Business Development & Licensing group at Sanofi US Services, Inc. where he was primarily responsible for negotiating various types of agreements and licenses with government agencies, NGOs, not-for-profit academic, and industry partners. Nathan earned his BS in Biology from Arizona State University and his JD from the University of New Hampshire School of Law where he was recognized as a Franklin Pierce Intellectual Property Law Scholar. Nathan is also a licensed Massachusetts attorney and registered patent attorney with the United States Patent & Trademark Office.
